Friends

I have three types of friends: hometown(childhood) friends, middle school friends, and high school friends. All of them are precious and close to me. I have hung out with my hometown friends since we were very young, so we have countless memories. I still remember when we played baseball in front of our house every weekend. Although we don’t hang out often anymore, we are still reliable friends who will always support each other no matter what. We filled our childhood with joy and spent time of pureness together. My middle school friends were the ones who got close the fastest and hung out the most in a short period of time. We played soccer and games together numerous times. Furthermore, we have done so many stupid and embarrassing things; It was a daily routine to get scolded by the teachers back then. We spent time of immature together.

Lastly, my high school friends are the ones who spent time of stress, happiness, and maturity together. We have been agonizing over profound and realistic problems(college..) and truly supported each other as friends. We have also created precious memories by creating, managing, and expanding various school clubs. At school, we have been friends, counselors, helpers, and co-workers to build a family-like community. Without them, I wouldn’t be able to adapt and enjoy my life in the new environment. Because they supported me, I was confident to challenge myself, ultimately becoming more mature and competent.

Family

My dad, mom, and twin brother have been the most powerful motivation in my life. Since they have endlessly supported and loved me no matter what I do, I was not lonely and scared when I tried something new. It was my family who encouraged me to get out of my comfort zone and to study abroad with people from many countries. Because of their support and presence, I was able to do well in the new environment; there is no one who is more impactful and reliable than my family in my life.

In addition, all the memories with my family make my life from childhood to late teenage meaningful and precious. When I first walked, touched a soccer ball, fought, and traveled to other countries, they were always next to me. They witnessed and accompanied every significant moment in my life. Therefore, since they know me the best when I am under circumstances to make important decisions, they guide me to make the best choice for me, ultimately leading me to become a better person.
